A large, globally distributed organisation operating across regulated, safety-critical and R&D-driven environments is expanding its security operations capability. The team is adding an experienced engineer to support and evolve identity, privileged access, and encryption services that underpin both corporate systems and sensitive operational platforms.
The environment spans cloud, on-prem, and SaaS, with identity services supporting thousands of users, applications, and automated workloads worldwide.
You’ll take ownership of the operational health of core IAM, PAM, and cryptographic services. The role blends deep technical troubleshooting with service ownership, working closely with platform, infrastructure, and security engineering teams to ensure access services remain stable, auditable, and resilient.
This is a hands-on role with real influence over how identity platforms are operated, secured, and improved over time.

Drive root cause analysis and long-term remediation for recurring incidents
Maintain and improve runbooks, procedures, and operational documentation
Support audit, risk, and compliance activities tied to access controls and encryption
Partner with engineering teams on platform improvements and automation
Act as an escalation point for junior engineers and complex incidents
Participate in a structured on-call rotation supporting 24/7 operational services
4–7 years’ experience in security operations, IAM, or security platform engineering
Strong hands-on experience with privileged access and identity platforms
Solid understanding of PKI, certificates, encryption, and key management
Experience operating enterprise-scale identity services in hybrid environments
Strong troubleshooting skills across authentication, authorization, and cryptographic systems
Ability to script or automate operational tasks (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with ITIL-style incident, change, and problem management
Working knowledge of cloud identity and security controls (AWS and/or Azure)
